"Settle Down" performed live by No Doubt

What is up with idiots hatin' on No Doubt lately?  If you read my initial post on about their new single "Settle Down", then you know my opinion.  What ever happened to eating, sleeping and breathing a band because you enjoyed who they were, what they were about and most importantly REALLY felt the music?  I don't know...  People (mainly teens lol) have no idea of what real talent is.  This band creates everything that they put out there for the public to hear and see.  From the sound, to lyrics, relations with one another, and what they are freakin' wearing, etc etc - No Doubt truly represents what a band should be.  Completely non-manufactured.  Raw. Real!  That's why I love (and always will love) No Doubt.

Here's a video of the first public live performance of "Settle Down" off the upcoming (set to release this fall 2012) album "Push and Shove".

When it Comes to NO DOUBT I Can't SETTLE DOWN

There are 2 bands that I have enjoyed from the moment I was introduced to them.  No Doubt and The Spice Girls.  Odd combo, right?

No Doubt just released their NEW single "Settle Down" from the upcoming album "Push and Shove" this week!  As a major fan of the group, I can honestly say that they did not disappoint me with this new tune.  Some fans feel differently than I do, but I could care less.  "Settle Down" has something for every fan of No Doubt and Gwen Stefani.  That original ska-sound we all fell in love with in the beginning, some "Rocksteady" flavor, a little bit of solo-Gwen, and a new feel that just screams NO DOUBT!  I absolutely love this single, and I can't wait for September 2012 to get here.  "Push and Shove" (the album) is set to release this fall - which is super exciting because a tour has to take place during the summer of 2013, and I will definitely be there!

Dreamworks Indoor Theme Park

I just read an article about the new American Dream project located in the New Jersey Meadowlands.  Dreamworks just signed a deal with Triple Five to create an indoor theme park within the upcoming site.  This is huge for Dreamworks, for it will be the first location in North America to exclusively host Dreamworks characters.

Could this possibly be Dreamworks idea of Disney's America?

It wouldn't shock me if Dreamworks did have something up their sleeve with going forward on this project - many on the Dreamworks creative team were formerly with the Disney company.

I don't know that Disney has any HUGE competition on their plate with this ordeal, but I do know that Disney definitely needs to step it up and consider placing a theme park or two in the northern areas of the United States - or even just the northern parts of North America in general.  Maybe not a full scale Disney World or Disneyland, but something for the northerners to enjoy when making the trip to Florida and/or California isn't possible.

I think it's great that Dreamworks plans on giving fans of the characters a "real" setting to enjoy them in.  I don't know if American Dream will ever be at the top of my vacation destination list, but we'll see.

David Kawena Brings Sexy Back

David Kawena is BACK, and he's brought Flynn Rider along for the ride!

After a brief hiatus (health issues, and life in general), artist David Kawena is - slowly but surely - posting new works of art on his deviantart.com gallery.  If you are not familiar with David's images - well, you live under a rock.  David brings life - and not to mention spice - to the "Prince Charmings" of Disney that we all love!

I highly recommend checking David Kawena's images out by visiting:
http://davidkawena.deviantart.com/

To get the most out of your browsing experience, you do have to register as a member of Deviant Art - which is FREE.

Disney is not the only images David puts a spin on.  He also hosts images like:

Kristin Chenoweth in the broadway musical "Wicked", and

this...I have no idea what's "behind" this image, but I do know that it is titled "Circus Freaque - Smile" and I am no longer afraid of clowns.  LOL

I hope you take a moment to browse what's available on David's - and MANY others - Deviant Art profile.

Mirror Mirror In My Hand, I Would Be a Good Queer Man

I have a completely new respect - and attraction - for Mr. Paul Rudd

I don't know how I missed this 2009 article between "Stud Rudd" & Entertainment Weekly:

Paul Rudd:
"I always thought I’d be a really good gay guy. I love American Idol. I watch Antiques Roadshow like crazy. Guys like Oscar Wilde, Stephen Fry, Elton John – they’re all very bright, with a razor-sharp wit. David Sedaris – who’s funnier than David Sedaris?
The Saturday Night Live [episode] that I did was such a gay-heavy show. But it didn’t even cross my mind until after. The family that kept kissing each other – I didn’t even think of that as being gay.  I remember doing interviews for The Object of My Affection [in which he co-starred as Jennifer Aniston's gay roommate], and people would say, “What was it like to kiss a guy?” Like it was such a shocking thing. I said, “How many times does anyone ask, ‘You had to shoot somebody, was that weird?’”I love gay guys. I feel pretty gay. I’m certainly not the most macho guy in the room."

Fabulous picture!  Such a tease...LOL

Check out the following linked article where long-time friends Adam Scott & Paul Rudd talk about their friendship & Paul's penis:

Cars Land at Disney's California Adventure Park

If you didn't know already, Cars Land is officially open at Disney's California Adventure park.  I hate to admit it, but I am not the biggest Cars fan.  The films are cute, but nothing compared to what I knew Disney to be growing up.  I will say that after seeing pictures and vids of Cars Land, I want to experience the atmosphere!  I was hesitant on Disney's idea of creating this themed land for park guests - I didn't think it would be too much of hit.  Guess I let my own opinions get in the way.  Oh well,  I can admit defeat LOL

Here's a great video of what Cars Land is like.  Enjoy!
